I prefer to participate than watch. I love exploring whether this is on foot, bike, car or climbing rock. I also enjoy making and creating. Time relaxing is important, an opportunity to reflect, talk & tell stories of the past exciting times.

Going out is all about socialising which means talking. It doesn’t matter if it’s a country pub, city bar, beach or the top of a mountain.
Travelling is fun, planning, experiencing new cultures, the excitement of the unknown and memories.

The quietness you only get with deep snow except for the crunchy squeak of our footsteps.
Freshly baked bread, still warm with butter.
I also have a fondness of fires! They give such atmosphere to an occasion.

The Angels Weep by Wilbur Smith. I have read quite a few of his books and he tells a wonderful story full of colourful characters, suspense and history.
I always have a few magazines on the go too.
