Rear painted.
Build up.

The rear end was fitted with flush light lenses cut from trailer light units.
-----------------------------------------------------------

The bonnet always goes on last because it can`t be sprayed until the vehicle is out of the garage.
------------------------------------------------------------

Finished at show.

Side view with no roof.

My favourite picture of the pickup. It would look at home in any top US magazine.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Side view with no roof.. Compare the direction of the spokes on the wheels with the picture to the left.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Side veiw with bonnet up.
Rear view.

The forward hinging bonnet makes it stand out from the crowd.
------------------------------------------------------------

Smooth clean lines. A case of less is better. Photos by Rob Hawkin`s.
------------------------------------------------------------

Front veiw.
Wheel.

The lowered front bumper makes the front of the vehicle look lower. I would have liked to see it even lower, but the length of the hockey stick prevented this.
----------------------------------------------------------

The wheels are nearly 10 years old in this picture. They are anodised and Robin looked after them well. They were a large investment when he bought them but worth it.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Engine bay.
The Interior.

The engine bay has only the engine in it. All the wiring is behind the inner wings with the washer bottle and the expansion tank is behind the bulkhead.
------------------------------------------------------------

The smooth dash and clean interior. The quarter light is smaller so it match's the roof line. Larger toughened side windows were made.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Cab cover.
Rebuilt engine about to go in.

The cover for the cab enabled Robin to leave the pickup safely without the roof even in the rain. The removable steering wheel means it can sit flat.
------------------------------------------------------------

The original 2000cc engine was getting tired so we did a rebuild. Here the engine is already to go back in. The garage had another project in so the job is being done in the carport.
