Front upright masked off ready for blasting.

Front rocker masked for blasting.

This uprights were blasted then painted. I had to hard mask them to stop damage to critical areas and paint from going onto mating surfaces. I made aluminium blanking plates and stuck old inner tube to some of them to provide a good seal.

The rockers were also hard masked to prevent damage from blasting and paint going on mating surfaces. If you have paint between two surfaces bolted together the paint will eventually compress and then wear away and cause a loose joint.
