The rubber wings require
a mounting piece that goes on the door pillar. The originals were very rusty. |

The cab and chassis are
mated and now the build up can continue. |

The dash is a wooden
insert this took some restoration and work to find the correct shade of paint. |
The rear axle was stripped
and the various parts blasted and painted. |

The original ladder rack
was in very poor condition, so some new beach was purchased and a new one
made. |
The suspension was replaced
as required and blasted and painted. |

The van has tool boxes
in the rear to hold the tools and telephone spares. Robin found some boxes
and restored them by welding in new metal, blasting and painting. |
The van back has a partition
to isolate the cab from the rear. A long search for a partition resulted in
an item that required some new wood and the mesh blasting and re- plating. |
