Middle body mounts

Rear body cut off

The middle body mounts pick up on a steel loop bonded into the Reliant body.

-------------------------------------------------------------

So I could remove the rear wheels I had to make the lower part of the body removable. It will be held on with Dzus fasteners.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Rear chassis structure
Over view of front

The rear chassis structure to hold the petrol tank, batteries, fuel pumps and body.
-------------------------------------------------------------

The front with engine mounted.

Radiator in position

Pedal assembly

I went to a local radiator specialist and told them the engine and the space I had. They built a radiator around a Vauxhall Senator core with Rover SD1 end tanks and Morris Marina mounting plates.
-------------------------------------------------------------

The pedal box with home made mounts and pedals. The master cylinder is from a Ford Escort. The structure will be strengthened with a bolt on top foot plate and a panel welded in underneath.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Axle in position
Body radius arm mounts

The axle in position with the Spax coil overs from a Reliant Scimitar.
-------------------------------------------------------------

The radius arm mounts for the chassis. They are tack welded together before drilling and shaping so both will be identical.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Rear radius arm mounts and handbrake

Fitting front body work

The radius arm mounts in position with the Reliant Kitten hand brake lever.
-------------------------------------------------------------

The front is also held on with Dzus fasteners. Again many mounting points were used to spread the load.
