The powder coated chassis
in gloss black. Now all that is required is to assemble the car and wire and
plumb it.

This is the first time
out of the garage and the first time I could get a good look at the car from
all angles. It looks and sits just how I wanted it.

This picture shows how
all the panels can come off the car. Now I have to install the engine and
the rest of the parts.

The gearbox was purchased
second hand and the condition was unknown so I took the sump off to have a
look. Everything looked OK but I still was not confident that it was good.

The engine in. The yellow
is the intended body colour. The front springs are also too soft and will
be replaced with some stronger items.( Note the angle of the front suspension
arms. )

The body had to be prepared
and painted on the chassis because it was too weak to support itself on its
own. Robin is flatting the original paint.

Robin borrowed a friends
compressor and DA sander to buzz the body. His compressor is not big enough
to run a DA sander.
