A new floor was made
and inner arches were constructed. First a frame is made from box section
then it is skinned. |

A rolled rear pan had
been put on by the previous owner but it was messy and would have been poor
for aerodynamics. |
The mess was cut out
and the edges trued up. Any air passing under the vehicle will now be able
to escape. |

New outer wheel arches
were also required. These were made by forming around wooden jigs. |
Shrinking metal is a
slow and hard process, but with plenty of hammering it is possible. |
