A new floor was made
and inner arches were constructed. First a frame is made from box section
then it is skinned.

A rolled rear pan had
been put on by the previous owner but it was messy and would have been poor
for aerodynamics.

The mess was cut out
and the edges trued up. Any air passing under the vehicle will now be able
to escape.

New outer wheel arches
were also required. These were made by forming around wooden jigs.

Shrinking metal is a
slow and hard process, but with plenty of hammering it is possible.
