The Minor steering column
points to the centre of the car and the wheel is too flat. I wanted a more
vertical wheel coming out of the dash straight at me. Also with my seat further
back I could move the wheel closer to me. This is the Minor column housing
remounted. |
The column is made from
CDS with a uj that goes onto the Minor rack. The uj took some finding. I am
very careful welding steering columns and prefer pinning and brazing. |

I made a new wiring loom
for the van. The hardest part was deciding where to run the wires not which
wire to connect to which connection. |
A Mini heater is modified
to only blow onto the screen. This should ensure that that the screen does
not mist up. |

Twin master cylinders
with balance bar were fitted under the floor. The pedal is a modified Ford
Escort item. |
The reservoirs for the
master cylinders are mounted as low and far back as possible. |
